Yellow Spotted Boarfish aka Giant Boarfish
(Paristiopterus gallipavo)
These
Boarfish were seen at Rockingham DT. Currently I have only ever seen
this fish once, I have been informed that it is rare for these fish to
come in so close to the shoreline and generally prefer to be in deeper
water further out to sea.
They can grow up to 60cm in length, the one on the right was approx. 40 - 50 cms
